Arizona Muslims Stand in Solidarity With Victims and Families of Horrific Orlando Shooting
(6/12/16 – PHOENIX, AZ) Arizona Muslim community stands united in condemning the horrific mass shooting at Pulse, an Orlando LGBT night-club early Sunday morning. Leaders from the Arizona community offered condolences and prayers to the victims and families of all those affected by this senseless act of violence, and called on community members to help in the effort of donating blood to the victims of this attack.
“The Arizona Muslim community is sickened by this senseless act of violence. There is no justification for these acts in any ideology, and for those who justify these acts – our community stands squarely against you,” said Imraan Siddiqi, Executive Director of CAIR-AZ. “We encourage everyone who is able in the Central Florida community to help in any way possible – including donating blood.”
